Susan Eloise Stoller, my OC.
Age: 18.

(Susan Eloise Stoller is an original character.  Any similarity with actual people, places or events is purely coincidental)

Born to the wealthy and influential Stoller family in the sword-and-sorcery - era city-state of Peliberry, Susan Eloise Stoller was an obvious and predictable product of her environment.  The third-born of four daughters, she did her best to be a Proper Lady.

Proper Ladies enjoy more social status and access to resources than women of the lower classes, but just as every dark cloud has a silver lining, every rose has its thorn.  There were expectations of Proper Ladies that often contradicted each other.

-A Proper Lady doesn't devote herself to childrearing and neglect developing a Trade.

-A Proper Lady doesn't devote herself to a Trade and neglect having children.

-A Proper Lady doesn't shortchange raising kids and developing a Trade by trying to do both.

-A Proper Lady has a weakness for sweets and other fattening foods.

-A Proper Lady doesn't engage in serious physical activity.

-A Proper Lady maintains a slim figure.

-A Proper Lady has a large breast size consistent with a woman who does not have a slim figure.

-A Proper Lady dresses in a sexually appealing manner.

-A Proper Lady isn't sexually active and retains her purity.

-A Proper Lady dresses in a manner that makes her sexually vulnerable.

-A Proper Lady doesn't train in weapons or martial arts to be able to defend herself.

-A Proper Lady doesn't wear a dress that is too short (definition of "too short" subject to change without notice).

-A Proper Lady doesn't wear a dress that is too long (definition of "too long" also subject to change without notice).

-A Proper Lady enjoys and appreciates sex with her eventual partner.

-A Proper Lady doesn't seek out or desire sex.

Susan (who prefers to be called by her middle name, "Eloise") only had a few options.

1) Try to do the impossible (and fail, because the impossible is, well, impossible).

2) Settle for being a mediocre Proper Lady.

3) Try to break away and do something unique and different such as... um... something?

4) Give up her position and rank for a more reasonable role.

5) Go batf*** insane.

"Eloise" chose the fourth option, and on the early morning of her eighteenth birthday snuck off of the Stoller Estate and sold herself off as a permanent domestic servant or "Slave."

In the city of Peliberry, "Slave" is a class that not everyone is qualified for.  There must be a "Master" (a gender-neutral word in this city) willing to pay the money to purchase, register, and take care of someone, and the city has a lot of human rights that extend to everyone.  Recognizable as coming from the Stoller house, and being young and attractive, she found no trouble finding a buyer.

The expectations at this social rank were a lot more down to earth:

-A female Slave does her best.

Appearance: Susan Eloise Stoller is slender and has fair skin, blue eyes, blonde hair.

Distinguishing features: A lock of her hair on her left side is blue, an unusual trait that marks her as bearing the Stoller bloodline.  She also has a clear scar on the back of her left hand.  Peliberry has magical healers and the wound is self-inflicted, so it may change in appearance over time.

Abilities: Susan is well-educated.  She can recognize and name the banners of all 144 major Houses.  She has impressive low-light vision and can negotiate the outdoors by starlight alone.  She is ambidextrous.  She is very good at organizing chaos into order, but dislikes doing so.  She is very dedicated and can stay on a single task until completion even if there are setbacks.  She is also good at explaining things meticulously.  Despite her fair skin, she doesn't burn easily in the sun.

Weaknesses: She has no dominate hand - her primary way of telling "left" from "right" is through having deliberately wounded her left hand to the point where it's always in a tiny amount of pain.  Having a pampered upbringing, she doesn't have a lot of physical strength or endurance yet.  She's very sensitive to criticism and negativity.

Other: The Stoller bloodline is very unusual.  First, there is the distinctive blue lock of hair, which is lost by anyone who loses the Stoller name.  Secondly, male Stoller offspring are extremely rare, though not unheard of.  Because of this, it usually falls to the eldest daughter to find someone who is worthy and is willing to adopt the Stoller surname.  This has led to a string to adventurers in the Stoller ancestry since this is one of the few ways of achieving upward social mobility.  Heroism can be somewhat inherited in this reality, so she has the blood of many heroes in her as well as avoiding the genetic inbreeding that plagues some of the families.

She is not well developed as a character, which is fitting as she isn't very developed as a person yet.  She is likely to eventually find dissatisfaction in her current life, but right now, this is where she needs to be.
My latest O.C.  I'll be commissioning art of her eventually.
